Stovel Block
sakihta kikinaw at Stovel Block — Edmonton's flexible housing for female-identifying people.
Built in 1912, Stovel has housed a wide array of small local businesses over the past century. This heritage building is directly across from the new Royal Alberta Museum, and is set to be completely restored by mid-2020. Currently home to Boyle Street, Sakihta Kikinaw as a women’s housing unit. This is for female identifying people who are experiencing homelessness in our community.
